Every morning presents me with a new day, everyday. And my thinking eyes explore it. Twin quipsters they are, they quietly tell me what they know. And some of it spill here...
As we read newspapers, we are finding news replete with stories of Mumbai coming back to naormal life in bits of land here and there. Dwellers of Kurla are yet to find a glss of safe water, with danger of disease lurking behing. Doxycycline and other prophylactics are selling as fast as newspapers during the election flux.
I feel the unassailable as they say the spirit of Mumbaiker has got a little beating this time, albeit not of every Mumbaiker on the move. One wonders what 113 thousand staff of BMC doing with bloated carcasses of cattle still floating in flood. Receding waters and rising normalcy. Swathes of land soaked in water is now trying to run spirit, life and business.
